Families with children are welcomed on the Celebrity Constellation and there are programs geared to four age groups. Each one offers activities, games and arts and crafts that are appropriate for the developmental age of the child and children as young as 3 can take part in the program. Teenagers love the opportunity to socialize with those of their own age group and the programs give parents the free time they need to engage in the activities and venues that are only for adults.

During the day there is the usual line up of activities, such as Bingo, arts and crafts, quiz games and bridge tournaments. Experts on each cruise provide entertaining lectures about a variety of topics and on the upcoming ports of call. There are always promotions at the spa and of course, you have to indulge in some shopping aboard the Constellation to take advantage of the savings in the duty free shops. There are 15 stores in the Emporium featuring brand names stores that are not found in the run of the mill shopping malls.

Check out the large selection of books in Words, which is the library on the Constellation. This location is open 24 hours so if you awake in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep you can just pop into the library to choose a good book. There is no staff here to keep check on which books you check out because it is based on the honor system.

You can check in with those at home to let them know what a great time you are having with the bank of 18 computers in the Internet Cafe. You can purchase a package deal that will give you 250 minutes of Internet time or pay as you go according to the number of minutes you use. Wireless Internet service is only available in the suites, so it would not do you any good to take your laptop if you book a standard stateroom.

Play cards in the card room or stretch out on one of the lounge chairs on the deck to take in the sun and the sights. This is a great way to get to meet your fellow passengers as you can strike up a conversation and continue it in one of the bars and lounges.
